It's winter time so it's kinda dead but what a relief it is! I. Working a roof in Houston and been super soar just came to b naked in the hottub but man everyone out here is super nice great place to be. Got my laundry done soaked in the hot tub cooked dinner and passed out was only gonna stay a day but thunk I'll be here untill Monday 😆 love it here!!!
This was indeed a great place to be. The lake was really nice to have a swim. The water might look murky on the outset. However, it is perfectly fine to swim around.
With regards to several comments pertaining to the supposed unfriendliness of a woman at the reception, I don't believe it to be the case. It is possible that she may not fit into the quintessential image of how the American customer service is ought to be. However, she wasn't rude and was just doing her job if making sure all documents are presented and the instructions followed.
I would recommend this place to everyone nevertheless.
My husband and I went for the first time this weekend.. first time in a nudist environment altogether. This place is amazing and relaxing. The office staff is great and helpful..Everyone there was so inviting and inclusive. After a long night, the Naked Pickle came in handy with a great breakfast. Will be returning..Already booked a room for a few upcoming events. #NakedLife!
I have lived here with my partner for a year and going on our second year, when we had to leave because the property manager Dave, stole from us and when confronted he stated "it's always a fight with you guys, I don't want to hear it just go ahead and leave."
We left the park for 3 days and told the front desk and everyone else we see around the community that we would be coming back after a short work trip. We packed up everything and left at our spot two wooden decks we were originally given by Dave when the last tenant left them. He stated "yeah no one owns these, help yourselves." Which we verified with the last tenant he left them because he too was warranted to leave after the manager wasn't following through and was fed up. He originally bought the RV with the decks.
This deck was perfect as we have a 9 year old German Shepherd that needs that help to get into and out of the RV.
So this guy waited like a coward when we were gone to take the decks. Which we moved by hand ourselves, clean and fixed up the loose boards and nails sticking out.
I have now waited 2 weeks for the return of the yearly membership I had just purchased and the rent we never got to finish. Before we left, we gave Josie our information to have the refunds sent. Her, my partner and myself were all there to witness Dave saying the park was going to give us "100% refund on everything." We have waited, and of course he does not honor his word.
The park manager has now stolen from us twice and I have started the legal paperwork and will be filing a complaint with the TCEQ and the Texas Workforce Comissions once it hits the 30-day mark.
I've never been able to experience the place yet. So my review is about how little open their communication is. I have a disability that prevents me from talking over the phone. I've sent multiple emails and only got a reply to the first email I sent a month ago. I have no way of reserving a cabin if no one is willing to reply to my emails. That is my only complaint because I will not be able to visit unless someone is willing to respond via email.
(daryl here) the nice lady was amazing, can't get enough on how amazing she was at the office. As of the resort, it's amazing and met a young couple who was such a doll. Got to hang out with both of them and met a older gentleman and talked with some as well. Started to be in the nudist community. And it boosted my confidence, yet meeting so many great people. I will be back, worth the 50 mins drive there. I will be a member soon when they have the next event in October. Another bucket list checked off and continue to go and be part of this nude community soon
Went to Emerald lake Resort for the 1st time today and we really enjoyed it. The lady at check in was awesome! She was very nice to us . Everyone we encountered was very nice and respectful..A+ to everyone at Emerald lake and thank you for helping us to feel comfortable. We will most definitely be back..
What a great place to relax and enjoy great conversations with like minded people. Jan at the front desk is incredible. Rented a cabin for this trip and it was nice. Loved the place so much we bought a membership. See you Sunday.
